Central Banks: Federal Reserve and Interest Rates

Stock market investors are still looking to adjust to the election news that was created in the United States last November.  But over the next few months, these same investors will be forced to assess the likelihood that we will see further interest rates increases by the Federal Reserve.  Already, Fed Chair Janet Yellen has made comments suggesting that the election of President Donald Trump has added a significant element of uncertainty to the economy.  This, ultimately, is something that could keep on the sidelines when we look at potential interest rates increases near term.
